| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | itr muffler on ek4 any hicups putting this on? reckon it would flow slightly better? Im running a factory exhaust with no cat and a coby resonator and I get a nasty twang sound around 3400rpm. Would changing to this muffler get rid of it? |

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | I wouldn't think ITR mufflers would flow much better than SiR ones. Might be more worthwhile just getting the whole sytem done at the same time or if you can't afford then just get a N1 style muffler and weld that on if you don't mind the noise until you get the rest of the system done with extra resonator.

Location: Wellington | if you're running a factory exhaust i doubt it would make any/minimal improvements if you change just the muffler, ITR or not. you need to change the entire system to remove bottlenecks in exhausts. |

| Senior Member 8,000rpm (B Series Redline!) | yeah ITR mufflers flow 35% better than the SiRs... but i dont think its worth putting on your car. cos you have to pay for labour etc. i think it'll be better for you to make a whole new exhaust system. then add 2 resonators and a straight thru muffler. maybe a silencer for the muffler?
