Re: thoughts/experiances on pioneer ts-sw841d subs

Easy. Split one RCA in to two and plug in to the two white inputs. Split the other and plug in to the red inputs.

For bridged output (from what I can see), one sub will come off the top set, positive on the left most terminal, negative on the third from left. Repeat for other sub on the bottom set.

... yes you need RCA splitters

Re: thoughts/experiances on pioneer ts-sw841d subs

Re: thoughts/experiances on pioneer ts-sw841d subs

You could, but as these are front and rear preout, if you hit the fader button to control your speakers front to back, also you'll have one of your subs go louder or quieter than the other.

I should go and have a play with the HU but I havnt and probably wont untill I chuck in the amp, which for the record I didnt get time to do today as I got busy

Re: thoughts/experiances on pioneer ts-sw841d subs

wtf Steven? why can't he use one set of RCA's and set the input to 2 channel?

and Greg, chances are it won't fade with the rears, but will have its own completely separate controls

Hmm... yes. Damn these flash Pioneer amps. I'm sure if I got to pick up the amp I would have seen that

Sub out is generally non-fading. Set your amps filters to off or all pass so you can adjust the filters from the head unit.

Re: thoughts/experiances on pioneer ts-sw841d subs

Ideas stolen from an Oz forum:

That's in a 2001 Camry wagon. Seperate boxes built to fit in the sides there.

Mmm... Seas Lotus

Re: thoughts/experiances on pioneer ts-sw841d subs

Cut all the pieces at once.

Looks to be built from thin MDF, then the inside is bulked up with chopped strand mat. You can see a bracket below the sub, and one in the top right holding the box in.
