Location: Upper Hutt | gearbox code help well im putting a b16a in2 my mini and gt coupla gearboxes and decidin wot 1 2 use, 1 has the code J1 the other has YS1. was wonderin what the difrent codes mean and what 1s better? thanks |

Location: Upper Hutt | Re: gearbox code help how can i tell if the YS1 is in fact a LSD or nnot by looking at it? i have taken axles out and tried to look through, there is a pin going down in the middle.does this mean anything? thanks for all help. |

Location: Papakura | Re: gearbox code help I think the ys1 is big bearing gearbox, and j1 is a close ratio gbox, THE GEARBOX IS IN CAR then jack front if you turn one wheel the other should turn the same way,like they were joined together |
