D12a / d15b conversion?

just wondering about the D12a carby, which is in my city.
i read a few topics from here about converting a D13 to something else.

im wondering if i buy a D15b engine (head and block)
would it mate with the D12 gearbox, intake mani, exhaust mani, dizzy etc?

also i read about the mounts being differnt on a D13 to D15.
does anyone know about the D12?

AND no please dont post "get a city turbo or b16/18/20 VTEC yo it" cos im not really interested in putting so much work into it

na

just that the current engine is getting tired, leaking coolant and i need to do cambelt etc etc.
so instead of fixing it up, maybe a cheapo d15 would cost as much to do

LULz what a thread.

The stock gearbox is gaytoid, its an L0. It has such fucked up engine mounts - one on the gearbox and one on the motor.

So i'm grinding all the stock mounts away and hybridising some EF Civic mounts.

I'm using an L3 gearbox from an EF3 Shuttle 56i and a D15B VTEC from an EG4 VTi.

I R said current owner.
