His sister is my girlfriend, and the civic I am working on is actually hers!!! He called me the other day to see if I had access to some of the parts which you needed..... cos I had to find all those bits as well (drive shafts, gear selectors etc etc..)!!!! as I didnt get all of that stuff with the engine.

Not quite sure where the diagnostic light will be but i am pretty sure that there is a blue 'jumper' plug (on OBD cars) that you have to short out in order to see the diagnostic codes. It should be up under the dash hanging out not too far from the computer.

Just an idea

Yeah, according to the info that evil_elmo led me to (c-speedracing.com), there should be a jumper, so I'll check it after work tonight.

OK, sorted, it came up with the oxygen sensor code. So all I gotta do is replace the oxy sensor and it should be sweet!!!!! Thanks for your help everyone
