Obviously not because He chose to look on Nzhondas first
I don't see any rule that something MUST be searched on google before being asked on nzhondas where people are likely to have good knowledge.

I say if you have the money then it could be a fun little project but a b16a may be a little more realistic considering prices and then work could always be done to make the engine up to a better standard afterwards

Mean conversion. I'd love to do this one day. Yeah sensible move to just do a B16A2, so much cheaper and the mini is so light it would still be bloody awesome.

I have a cradle form minimania in my mini clubman GT as there is more room under the bonnet than the round nose mini. I have a long way to go to get it go.
Have a look here, http://www.mendozamechanical.co.nz/index.asp?pgid=38

The guys that do the subframes in wellington make them so you can use aftermarket coil-over suspensin, honda disc brakes etc..

We just purchased a mini and are going to undergo this conversion pretty soon using a B16a..

the kits and stuff are made for a B16A as they are shorter and require less work to fit.

ur gonna be putting in a engine that makes about 3x the power of the origional motor so i dont think power will be a problem
