ABS Switch... Dodgy or not?

Ive seen on a few forums that people have made a switch so that they can turn the abs module on/off. Its actually really easy to do, you just relocate the abs fuse and put a switch inline with it.

What are peoples thoughts on this, could be handy when driving in gravel/snow. Seems to be popular with the 4wd'ers.

I will be doing this very soon. Nothing wrong with it. May be legal issues tho.

Re: ABS Switch... Dodgy or not?

I've never thought of ABS as a particularly bad thing to have, unless track racing, or racing on gravel? Is this for race car?

Shhhh mike don't mention burnouts on here, someone is bound to flame me.........

Yer its still got ABS in it. Never ever kicks in though, because the front brakes are so dam good that it never has a chance. But gotta take it out for Honda Challenge. Turns out i didn't quite read the rules right before.
