Will get my settings readjusted by this guy who adjusted my shit @ Tonys last time in town, then I'll get a better idea.
BTW, RE001 sidewall looks like arse when compared to the DZ101's IMO. Just plain ugly blimp sty in comparison ...

got printout ??

I like the sidewall of them myself....the DZ101 has that dog ugly "rim protectant" wannabe drifter look to it

just my thoughts....ive never been a fan of that style sidewall....some of the Falkens etc have it too.....they kinda have an "angle to them .

you can kinda see it there.

will be interesting to see how you like them in a month or two.
I havnt done alot of driving on them so cant give real experiance but everyone else seems to be so happy with them

Re: tyre size for 15"

Will get the other half to scan a copy of the printout and post it up asap Greg ...

It's seriously fugged IMO.
First 5 minutes I could tell something wasn't right at all with the vehicles handling. Upon inspection I could clearly make sense of what I was feeling by reading the toe settings on the sheet. Both fronts are like 3.33 or some shit, not what I asked for and not even within recommended spec ...

After a little more 'spirited 'driving' today (in warm conditions) I could feel these tyres are indeed very sticky. But I have to take it easy as there's a bit of rubbage going on under the front due to the shit condition of wellington roading IMO and ride height so I'm still in the 'break in' process really.

Can't wait to get these alignment issues sorted and get it back to how it should be for my preference, the car is 'rolling over' quite a bit more than what I'm used to, and although it sticks well, it just doesn't feel as good as it should. I really don't want to scrub these tyres out quickly either ...

Atleast then I'll be able to make a good judgement for myself on these tyres, I have only heard/read good things about these (from many sources) so far and it's kinda a bit upsetting to have my cars characteristics so dramatically changed and IMO greatly upset.

Hoping to go see the clued up guy who done my last alignment tomorrow. Or atleast early this week ...

Re: tyre size for 15"

i have been running 205/15 RE-001 since Jan this year on my EF8 (15x6.5 rims) & i do ~500kms/week commuting to work
still have good solid tread (approx 60% life left 4-5mm all round) & great wear with my driving style
much better then the couple of sets of DZ i had prior to these bridgestone/potenza/adrenilin whatever you want to call them

rotation isnt ideal with assymetrical (ouside face is always outside) but if you have normal ride height & not cutting tyres out due to camber these are a good option for the middle of price range tyres IMHO

very good grip in both wet & dry & i rate them well over dunlop DZ & goodyear F1s in dry grip & wear rate
