go with what ever is easiest to mount up.

ITR=Subframe reinforcement
blox=maybe use stock mounts not sure?

so really it would be cheaper to go with blox, because i would need a asr brace to go with the itr sway bar mhmm

i can get the blox one for 230 shipped with endlinks

i still think you'd need subframe reinforcement with a bar such as the blox one as its 21mm.

if anything it would be more solid than the itr rear bar so youd definitely need the subframe reinforcement.

you can get a beaks subframe reinforcement from mac for around $100

hmm why do you say it would be more solid than the itr bar?? the blox is 21mm and ITR is 22mm? or 98 spec @ 23mm?

Re: blox 21mm rear sway bar??

sorry for off topic but does anyone know if blox adjustable end links will work with an itr rear sway bar? with the standard endlinks it goes both side of the hole but the blox adjustable ones i have they have a swivel joint with a bolt and a nut.

get some bushes made up like these King Motorsports Unlimited, Inc. and then the endlinks will work with a ITR rear swaybar

Re: blox 21mm rear sway bar??

ask if the blox 21mm requires reinforcement.

Beaks and ASR is only desiged to work with where the ITR D brackets bolt.

many sway bars use the stock brackets, so the beaks kit wouldn't work.

you will notice the ITR bar is quite different to many stock fitment uprated bars.

that said sam energy suspensiom make d brackets and bushes that work with most sized sway bars and that do fitwith the ITR's wider mounting points

Re: blox 21mm rear sway bar??

So the re-enforcing kit is just a washer type thing to spread the load over more of the area it's being bolted onto? Would be easy to make up if one had acess to a workshop/tools/steel?

Re: blox 21mm rear sway bar??

Thoughts on the MFactory 19mm swaybar kit that FBI are selling?

Is that thicker much different than a stock EG SiR one?

Or is ITR + ASR brace the way to go?

The Mfactory swaybar kit should definatley make a noticeable difference over the standard eg6/9 14mm swaybar..

Re: blox 21mm rear sway bar??

I dont mind the colour of the Mfactory unit (whos gonna look anyway). But i have concerns where the MFactory bar bolts onto the "reinforced" part. Looks flimsy.

Re: blox 21mm rear sway bar??

i have a mfactory subframe brace and 19mm sway bar. feel really good IMO. alot less understeer, mind u i had nothin in the rear before.

i kinda agee, its not the hottest brace, but hey, if its does the job if does the job, each of their own. you can just paint it

it was also easy to bolt up, and came with all the hardware including endlinks.
