Re: camber

at the moment i run -1.5 rear and -2 on the front, it is shit all, i am getting a new alignment with -3 all round. (i get more wear on the outside of my race tyres than the inside...)
I know logan (trackwhore) runs -3 rear and -4 front, seems to work well

Re: camber

I had planned on running 1.5 front and .5 rear but i'll have to think about it.

Might have to run more and get my tyres flipped every now and then. Dont firestone (bridgestone) offer free flipping/rotating/balancing of tyres for their life if they're purchased through them?

hmmm.....

Re: camber

i run blox rear, just like any other camber kit really apart from the skunk2 pro series that has the better bushes and also the skunk2 pro series front camber kit which has more clearance.

Re: camber

Pyro the tyre, then adjust the camber to get an even temp across the whole tyre.

I get this badly in the rear.

running about -2.0-2.2 on all 4. It needs more camber but can't be assed changing it. Reason why it needs more is because the car is rolling out. So stiffen it up some more and that may solve some of the prob. Or just run more camber

for daily run stuff all camber.

Re: camber

hmmm in alot of daily hondas i see on the track they wear the outside rears because of the daily setup they have. Would need decent rear camber to counter this.
My tein flex suspension set on hardest with a ITR 22mm rear sway still wears the outside rears MUCH more than the rest of the tyre.
thats what you get with a 225lb rear spring the flex come with

I'd go for at least -2.5 rear if you have a daily setup that will see the track with semi slicks. You can run mad rear camber and not really wear them at all because they aren't the drive tyres and don't have much load over them.

Re: camber

for street use 2 degrees in the front is as high as you would want to go IMO.......rears 1.5-2 is good......

firestone wont flip your tyres free whoever mentioned that !! I think they do free inspections and maybe balance......

Re: camber

I need to dig out the alignment sheet from when I had the car cornerweighted and aligned a few months ago. I think it was -2.5f and -2 rear with a bit of toe out here and toe in there, cant remember which end was in and which was out tho

yeh 2 degrees in the front is ok if you have shitty hard road tyres. But any decent softer tyre they will wear.

I have some shit brand 17's (they have a eagle imprinted into the sidewall if that helps)

I run -2.2 in the front and tyre wear isn't that bad at all (super crap tyres thats why, super hard)

Yeh i'd go -3 front -2.5 rear. can you give some info on the car, alignment settings, suspension, sway bars etc, this all makes a difference.

Pay to ask ss2000 people, maybe ask bigal or others who race.

-2 front and rear with 1 degree toe out on front.
