Location: Auckland | EK4 sway bar HELP hey guys, im having trouble fitting my new rear sway bar. i originally bought the car with no sway bar, so found a EK9 iem, but now have the problem of mounting it. ive tryed the universal clamps from autolighn, but no luck, the clamp is too big, same thing with prelude clamps. has anyone swaped swaybars in their EK4? what other options do i have apart from getting a subframe brace kit? cheers. The clamps dont come in the kit, you need to buy the ones for the actual swaybar (EK9) and then that bolts right onto the brace.

Kelsonmassif: they bracket sizes are different as the oem swaybar sizes are different by around 7 mm. the centres of the holes on the brackets are out about 8mm. americ_ian: there was no sway bar when i bought the car. offset: yeh just endlinks and clamps are needed. i already have some endlinks from ADL. |
