Location: Wellington | How much is too much? I have a set of Toms NA-R 16x7 wheels, an it looks like after it was stolen the theives hit a few kerbs and have buckled/dented my rear left rim to such an extent that you can feel a very slight vibration at 100 kms. If it is bent is there anyway to fix it? I am not sure of how bad the damage is. Ironically it just had a new tire put on it and the guy didnt notice a thing. Also, who in Wellington/Greater Wellington can do such a repair? Or at least what kind of shop am I looking for? i.e. Engineers/Wheel/Tyre Shops etc etc. Long story short, what can you repair, and what is irrepairable? |

The tyre shop sent them away to be repaired and they were as good as new, couldn't even see where they had repaired it. Go to a wheel/tyre shop and they should be able to point you in the right direction. EDIT: from what they told me they can repair a buckled rim but not if the spoke is bent or if the whole wheel is twisted. |

Most tyre shops should be able to send thme away for you or send you in the right direction. We have a specifc place called Wheel & Frame in Hamilton. If its not to bad it should be under $200 each wheel. |
