LCA vs RTA

Hey guys

Just spoke to my mechanic and he says I need the trailing arm for the rear right of my ITR.... the thing that has the bushes which I had replaced with nolathane ones... Are these different to lower control arms?

Last thing I wanna do is buy the wrong thing...

Yes they are different. LCA connects to the hub, which is on the end of the trailing arm.

Re: LCA vs RTA

The RTA is the massive arm thing that is oriented lengthways. LCA is much smaller and is oriented sideways. Your shocks bolt to the LCA.

RTA has a big ass bush in the middle of it where it attaches to the car.

LCA have little bushes either end.

Re: LCA vs RTA

they run perpendicular to each other. get your mechanic to show you which one. if its an lca bush then thats unusual, i havent seen one yet that needs replacing..
