| Senior Member 4,000rpm (Taxi Drag) | whiteline sway bar question hi, i just get my second hand rear sway bar for dc2 from brent.... and i have a look of the installation instruction from whiteline...i found that the mounting point have little bit different... ![]() this is the second hand one... ![]() this is the pic from whiteline... my question is: 1) is it safe to run it on a non type r dc2 with type r suspension???? i have search the forum and some ppl ssay that the harder the spring is, the more safe the surframe... 2) also, the end of sway bar have 2 hole (adjustable)...which hole should i use to make less stress on the subframe?? my thinking is the inner hole as shorter the length, less torque on the bar and less movement??is that right?? 3) do i require to reinforce the subframe to install the bar??? thx |

| Senior Member 4,000rpm (Taxi Drag) | Re: whiteline sway bar question as i know...eg use the same one with dc...so, it didnt fit ef... but here is some modification u can do... Honda-Tech.com: Honda CRX / EF Civic: How I put a DA rear sway bar on my DX hatch, pics galore not really sure how is ef one look like, but i think in the web is a crx "DC is 13mm. DC 4dr is 14mm. DA is 14.7mm. EF is 15mm. DA 4dr sedan is biggest, 15.9mm on second thought, DC rear bars mount to the rear subframe right? DA/EF swaybar mounting style is better in my analysis." this what i copy from the web.. |
