| Senior Member 4,000rpm (Taxi Drag) | EF9 Camber problem Just been for a cert, failed on being too low (how gay) and too much camber on front wheels, obviously the simple solution is finding a camber kit for an ef and fitting it then align and boom cert sorted. I have been shown by a suspension technician that a cheaper and more effective way of adjusting the camber in the front of a honda is too slot the holes at the back of the top arms were the main bolt goes through the wishbone piece of the arm, therefore making it adjustable. I realise the steel is kinda thin there so strength may be an issue but does anyone else run this setup or see any issues with it?

It was alot harder then i thought to do and you dont just slot a straight line, you have to do a perfect curve which was made after alot of thinking and research etc. Not an easy task but if you're an engineer or have access to some people that are in the know then you could give it a go. Why dont you just raise the car up to eliminate the camber which then solve 2 problems with you getting a cert?

Sounds like a lot of effort to go to/time off the road etc when you can a ready made kit off the shelf that will solve your problem. I had one on my EF9, went in sweet and was easily adjustable (not that i did it ).Also, if you crash your car, maybe even minorly, you may have to go through the hassel of getting another arm altered??? |

Very true. I didn't realise you could easily get hold of EF front camber kits. What are the prices like on the Ingalls these days? I remember when i checked them out 5 or so years ago they were pretty damn expensive.

| Senior Member 4,000rpm (Taxi Drag) | Re: EF9 Camber problem will get picz for you shortly, it aint low in my opinion so dont get too excited lol, ok so anyone got a price for the ingalls ef camber kit? its only got 3 degrees camber, hardly excessive i thought, certifier tryed to tell me its on the bump stops (its not even close!) and the front ball joints are pivoted beyond there normal travel, but under closer inspection by myself they arent excessive.ad results? So anyone else tryed my idea in anything else and had good / b Marty jones was the certifier

They camber more than EG/DC. EF/DA easily gets way past 3 degrees negative when slammed. EG sits around 2-2.5 at a low height. They are not as bad for it, | |
