Rim Redrilling

Hey Hi.

Have searched yerrow pages to no avail, just wondering if anyone has any good places in wellywood to get rims redrilled at a different PCD at a semi decent price?

Also what are some of the pitfalls of doing this?

Thanks team

Unfortunately, i only want one set of wheels for my car which are always 4x114.3 and my car is 4 by a hungy. I dunno i want some sweet alternatives but spacers will force my wheels to rub hard. I didnt know you can get hubs redrilled? How When Where Why. Im a newfag to this stuff. Any alternatives FTW.

place up here does it for $5 a hole.........however whoever does it wont gaurantee your paintwork due to obvious reasons.......far easier to do with a wheel that has centre caps eh....

Nah sorry these Wellington engineers are a bunch of girls. I called M n' Turbo, Three 'specialist engineers', a place in palmy, Midas Porirua and Lower Hutt, as well as a few random wheel shops and no one had the scrotum to do it.

General consensus is that it'll make the rims too weak. Although five or six of the places all said "yeah we dont but we know a place who does" and referred me on to them. Was a huge waste of my time. Surely there must be an engineer here from the Wellington area. I really want some ITR rims!

Is the 'place' a chain or just a random shop? I've searched high and low. Five bucks a hole is cheap too.

Its an engineering firm we used to use to drill all our blank wheels etc....they specialise in doing wheel repairs and drilling....also enlaging centre bores etc.

I can give you the details but you would obviously ship the wheels back and foward

Yep. Makes you wonder if it wouldn't just be easier to find the same style of wheel in 4x100 doesn't it? I think Enkei make it but I can't remember the model.
