| Senior Member 9,000rpm (S2000 Redline!) | Skunk2 Pro C coilover review (56K) So i talked to Tony @ Skunk2 a while ago (this was before FBI was the distributor, so pm Adam/EVLTEK if you want to buy a set!) when he posted up that he wanted a few people to test out the new Pro C coilovers they just bought out, they looked good, so it was a decision between Tein flex, or the Pro C's, i saved up some money and went for the Pro C's  First off, Tony's service was awesome, payed for them and he sent them out same day! Box arrived in about a week later: ![]() Opened it up: ![]() ![]() Skunk2 Pro C coilovers Skunk2 LCAs in Gold Skunk2 T-Shirt Skunk2 stickers Skunk2 Resivour covers The machining and finish on the LCA's is awesome and also the new bushes they have got in there are way better than any normal style bush, when i had the coilover bolted to the LCA, you can move the LCA freely with your hand unlike other bushes, heres some more pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Pulled the shocks out of the box, once again the maching and finish is good just like the LCA's. I noticed between the spring and the spring pearch there is a nylon or teflon washer which i havnt seen on my D2's or Daiyamas. The tophat is sort of extended? like the GC coilovers i think it is? The shock body etc is alot larger like the Teins unlike the D2's and Daiyamas, thats about all the differences i could see, oh and brake brackets! More pics:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They all went in easy with no problems like good coilovers should, no making brake brackets up  Installed: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is on the lowest setting they can go on, i could get the front lower by preloading the spring a bit, but i dont need it any lower as the front camber kit allready hits the shock tower The rear goes pretty low that will be going up too as its pretty much impossible to drive with my stupid big sideskirts on (they are coming off asap)Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ride? i havnt really driven fast enough to test them out yet, but im going to put them higher tonight and try and go for a drive tomorrow, but from what i can tell allready is they are quite a bit harder (even with the same spring rates 10kg f/8kg r) as my old Daiyamas. I am most likely going to be getting harder springs for track work. Because of my whiteline swaybar, i cant fit it back on now because of the larger shock body, the whiteline swaybar is wider than the standard one (i dont know why ) but i think i will get a type r one sorted out soon.I will update this more when i have driven it more as thats what suspension is all about  Will be testing it out at Bens trackday on Jan 25th too. Big thanks to Tony @ Skunk2 Racing in the USA! Oh and check out the top ![]() 8)

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | Bling bling money aint a thing.... Look nice man and at least they can go a little lower when you need to (show etc). Definitly take 'em up a bit and get testing. Not that i could ever afford things like this but im sure a few people here would be keen to know how they ride etc. Hopefully sorted all your suspension woes..... Hows the cooling side of things :?: :?: PS: Put on a bit of weight myself, Any tips? Dont tell me eat veges. No upside down b for me ![]() |

| Senior Member 9,000rpm (S2000 Redline!) | well just went for a 30min drive to get petrol and they definately feel harder than my old shocks, they were set on hard, but couldnt really test anything out as it was pouring down... maybe will test them out tomorrow when its dry, i hope! But the real test will be if my lap times are lower or not 8)

i wish Well its dry today and just went for a thrash, the shocks feel wayy better than the old shocks and also the d2's ( i knew they would be  ) that was set on full hard, just about to have a muck around with the settings and go for a drive. Also that was without the swaybar connected, i am going to go for a type r rear swaybar (22mm) and a ASR brace, anyone keen on one pm me. Cant wait to get out on the track!

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | Looks like it will be interesting - I've got PRO-C on the way as we speak  I have the 12kg spring set coming with it though, but might try with a 14/10 combo as well just for laughs. Skunk2 stickers all over the show Jan 25th But yes - Tony @ Skunk2 =

I guess you want 1 degree for the strip and you would want 2.5 degree or more for the track | |

Location: Tauranga | guess it depends how your car is set up where the tires are rolling out. I get outside wear running over 2.2 negative but only 9kg and 5kg springs with 22mm rear bar |
