Location: Auckland | EF9 15 inch wheel diameters and offsets All depends on the design of the wheel. Its width. And your ride height. FWIW Mugen produced their wheels in 15x6 ET38, 15x6.5 ET38, 15x6.5 ET45, and 15x7 ET40. All listed as fitments to EF9. I would avoid using 195/50R15 at all costs. The 82 Load Index is too low. As you need to maintain or exceed at least 85 Load Index. And you'll be needing the additional 10mm in tyre width. To cope with naturally the increase in loads you'll generate from the shorter, stiffer sidewalls of 50 profile. In short, check on the car before you commit.

Location: Auckland | Will 4H100 15x6 ET39 Volk NR-S fit EF9? Sounds good. But you really need to check them fitted to the front, with new or near new Brake Pads. Remember, it was just the 14x6 ET38 MR-5 and CF-48 that was a problem for EF8/9, DA6/8. The 15x6 ET38's clear the front calliper with new brake pad fine.

Location: Auckland | so 195/50/15 is the closest to correct upsize.......205's may look a bit funny(not funny = ha ha) , particularly on a little ef.......... id be inclined to pop down to the back of every tyre shop in town and find a pair of junkers(in a 205/50) to skin up and trial fit on the car first

| Team NZH: Mod 11,000rpm (Spoon B16B!!) | Just an update.. After spending a bit of time at Autosalon talking to the guys from bridgestone I'm gunna be buying some Potenza RE001 aka Adrenalin. I'm getting some pretty good pricing on them and after looking at my rims which are actually 15x6 +38 offset decided that 195/50/15 would be better than 205/50/15. Should get them in a week or two, cant wait! |
