Tanabe Coilovers??

I have a friend whose looking at some Tanabe Coilovers for his BB1 Prelude. Would this be a good choice? Or would a good spring/shock combo be better?

Thanks.

Tanabe are good but expensive......

for a "round town" car some springs and shocks will be more comfortable.

What kind of springs and shocks would you suggest? I see Neuspeeds (SP?) are quite favored and would be a good spring to go with? But what kinda shock?

Ped Rac3r : you will hear ALOT in favour of Koni shocks. Myself included. You can get extra spring perch slots cut into the bodies to lower it more than the spring will allow and also they have great dampening.

ive had tanabe sustecs for a few years in my car now, pretty awesome street coilover

think my spring rates were 6 and 8kg, so not too bad for our roads

Where are you able to get Koni shocks? I had a quick look on 41, couldnt see anything. FBI? Or will I need to get them from Koni or a dealer?

the only obvious one is that there is oil leaking out of it., or maybe if u can visually see anything thats bent (unlikley)

ur best best if ur unsure, dont buy it. if u do buy it it cant hurt to have it checked by someone like the shock shop or autolign
