Location: Auckland | lolz.......they are so new not many people have had the chance to form an opinion yet Interesting tho, I was working on an rx8 the other day and it has a pair of bridgestone "plays" on the front which are a JDM tyre and they were damn near identical to the adrenilline(sp) only the inner edge was different in the actuall pattern and the sidewall of the adrenilline looks better (not so rounded) but id say thats where the inspiration came from....... im about to google them now actually ![]()

Location: Auckland | Potenza RE001 Adrenaline ![]() http://www.bridgestone.co.jp/tire/playz_pz-1/index.html Well said in spotting the Potenza RE001 Adrenaline appears similar to the JDM Playz PZ-1. The RE001 appears to be the much more aggressive relative of the two. ![]() http://www.potenza-adrenalin.com/ I finally inspected a 205/50R15 Potenza RE001 Adrenaline yesterday for the first time. The RE001's appear very square in its shoulders. The Outside (4) Semi-slick Shoulder Design is very large in section. Reminiscent of the NA2 NSX-R and ABA-FD2 Type R original equipment Potenza RE070. The Inside Shoulder Design looks straight from the Potenza S-03 Pole Position. (1) Inside Offset Twin Rib is a departure for Bridgestone as they usually have the rib in the Centre. For example Potenza RE050A, Turanza ER300. (2) 3D Centre Bock and (3) Multi-curved Slant Grooves appear straight from JDM Porenza RE-01, and EU Potenza RE720. Comparing it to a brand new 205/50R15 Potenza RE040. Sidewalls are as firm in the lower section, with the upper section just a little softer than RE040. Which all bodes well for them being much more performance orientated than the Potenza GIII it replaces. Pricing suggests their aimed at the Potenza GIII market. Dealers are quick to point out it also replaces and out performs Potenza S-03 Pole Position. S-03 were an excellent dry tyre, so the RE-001's have much to live up to.. RE001 haven't been on the market long, so for the wary like me its just a case of waiting for a few independent tyre test's to feature them on different types of vehicles. To see how well they perform in the marketplace today. If your interested in the RE001. Don't forget to enter Bridgestone NZ's Unlock Me promotion where you could win a free set of four Potenza RE001 Adrenaline: http://www.unlockme.co.nz/

Location: Wellington | I have them mounted on my EK.. 195/55R15.. must say the stability and handling is very good, taking corners is much easier and more stable. I still have yet to fit my swaybar, strut braces etc.. so yeah these tires look promising. They also break your bank too,.
