Location: Auckland | Improving camber/castor on EK hatch? Just wondering what have people done to improve the lack of front camber and castor on an EK3 hatch as the standard settings are not so great. Thanks.

Location: Auckland | I would imagine there is a generic type camber kit for them.......( Or buy coilovers with pillow balls)..as for castor do they have a castor rod ??? if they do it would obviously have no adjustment so Id get some spares and thread the life out of them so you can use them as an adjustable castor rod just like the front of a toyota van etc 8)

| Senior Member 6,000rpm (Max Torque) | I wouldnt imagine that you can ajust castor. I no that on a DC2 it is nearly impossible to do, and involves a shit load of work to do it. Camber and toe are a piece of piss to do.

Location: Auckland | never say never  But yea ek no doubt dosnt have rods so it would be a mutt of a mission.....small correction could be made via a chassis "shuffle" but as far as adjusting for certan conditions etc youd probly have to have something made up (or slotted) on the ef they have a castor rod which is not adjustable but could be made to be. Buy an rx8 or mx5 if you want full adjustment ![]()

Location: Tauranga | RWD cars are much different they will run ALOT more castor factory than a FWD honda. I.E drift car will run 9-10deg castor Race FWD EG will run 3-5 castor. Quote:
I think stock castor is 1 degree. | |

Location: Howick | As ian said, if u want more castor, swap the top wishbones around, ie left to right, only way without extensively modifying suspension, or just get traction bars and pull the whole assembly forward, or push it back if your that way inclined

Location: Hamilton | Found this due to a search for caster. Bumping as theres aftermarket bushes available (for EK at least) that increase (or decrease) front caster by way of an offset bush center, mayeb someone cares. |
