sounds very tempting, but will they fit my da6?
They should do. DS2500 are a very good street/race pad

Probably. If you've got 262mm rotors(my EG6 and DC2 both do) then probably. The 2500's are supposed to be an excellent road/trackday pad, but I decided on a full caliper/rotor upgrade kit a couple days after I bought the pads.

I have Hawk peformance + can't get any fade with them.

I was selling em for a da6 but decided to keep em on my coupe for now as I can't afford prelude discs and good pads to go with the lude calipers i got
would be bout $400-$500 for a good prelude upgrade with new discs+re-redrill(about 160 trade), calipers(100 (or $20 from pick a part)+machining($40)+good pads($180-$270)

You will find HAWK + pads with new fluid is more then enough
prelude upgrade is half for looks 8)

That'll be because on the street you weren't getting them up to tempertaure. Brakes work by leaving a layer of brake material on the rotor, then that layer causes friction with the pad to give you your braking, so if you dont get them into their temperature range it won't "stick" so it dusts off hard, and that's why a lot of performance pads chew rotors when cold but are much better once warmed up.

Yeah thats what I figured

I've just got a set of Ferodo DS3000 race pads, so will be running different pads for road and track now

in other words you are too soft on the road and need to drive it like you stole it.

yeah it's ganerally not a good idea to use a race pad on the road as your stopping distances when cold are greatly increased
