DC2R Suspension into EG4

This is something I am looking at doing, and I know that it will fit as DC2 and EG use the same suspension. However, I am wondering if DC2R suspension (shocks/springs) will give any drop if put into an EG4, and if any problems will be encountered in the swap... Any help is appreciated.

theyll fit but i dont know if theyll give a drop as they have a higher spirng rate than an EG.

the EG is also a lil lighter which means it wont drop as much

everything will fit in sweet, as long as its eyes in the rear, it wouldnt do much, be still quite tractorish cos egs are light.

Sorry for digging up an old post but.......

Will 96 ITR springs and shocks raise the height of an EG-6 or will it remain around the same????
What is the ride and handling like???

Hopefully if I get time I'll install mine this weekend and see.
I was just hoping for some feedback by people that have done this swap.

Looking at SCK's (he doesnt get online anymore) its not really low at all. It dropped it from the factory height, but it doesnt look lowered. Handling is pretty good though.

in my bros EG9, the DC2R struts lowered it perhaps half an inch? enough to be noticeable, but only just, make it handle a shit-load better anyhow!

It lowered the front 20mm and the rear 5mm. So that gap(on mine anyway) was 6cm at the front and 5cm at the rear. Now the gap with ITR Suspension is 4cm front and 4.5cm rear. I'll do a proper post later with pics(it won't be a how to post though, just a FYI).
