I just can't get past that habit I developed when I was a kid that if I wanted to catch up on what mates were doing we'd actually get together and do stuff. And if we wanted to meet strangers we'd go out and actually meet them face to face. And if we wanted to ogle them we'd ask for a peek, likewise for a shag. Why hide behind a computer? Is no one worried that one day they'll find out they've been spading their own mum? Or "NawtyMel" is a 45-year-old dude named Melvin who likes a good spank?

Well, there are different ways of looking at it. I am on Bebo, however I have spent a good percentage of this year over seas - and I live in a different city to a majority of my friends.... so Bebo serves a pretty good purpose. I can get in touch with friends and family in such a way that would otherwise require MANY EMails with pics attached to show what I am up to, or very expensive phone calls.

However, I only really add people who I have any intention of keeping in contact with - basically people I'd spend time with in person normally. Its a tool, its only does what you use it to do.... seeing as I have mine as private, and only give it to friends, I can't get spammed and if I wanted to stalk little girls I'd do it the old fashioned way

Fascinating how people gather together to fight something thats popular... its trendy to not follow the hot new thing which is obviously something that works! Admittedly I was a cellphone hater once.

yeah w3rd jared. and for killing time/letting off steam at work. it is almost a substitute for txting, when you see how frequently some people are on this website. I have comments from 4 weeks ago on my page. and counting.

my page is set on private so certain people will stop stalking me...

Bebo isn't bad... I'm on it. Gotten to know friends of friends via it etc... but MSN is still the best, Bebo is just a link to MSN for me really. Can't really be fucked making comments on peoples pages like some people develop and obsessive habit of. Nor do I whore friend lists like some people do, having 50 people they know and 500 people who they don't know, don't want to know, and just add them to bump up their numbers.

Most of all, I hate people on Bebo who are:
- Whores
- Sluts
- Emo's/Tragics/Wannabe Gangsters
- False Mr Niceguys

But I don't mind skanks .

This is the only Forum I post on and its not full of all the shit like spam, excellent NGLSH and try hards which is now so common on almost any type of other Forum or Bebo etc. Im not saying I am "Too Cool" as you suggested.
