"and thats the end of the day"

At the end it didn't even look like there was a passenger in the car. Just ranting to himself about absolute crap.

Just a classic case of target hypnosis at the end. Sometimes you gota get of the brake and back on the gass.

Toser!!

Think there's a mate in the car with him.

Bloody dangerous thing to be doing in broad daylight with public traffic.

As im sure you'll soon find out....i'm the 'mad driver' behind the camera. I'm not a bad person like you're making me

out to be, like calling me douchebag, tosser and a tool.

Usually i wouldnt type all of this, but alot of this posting actually seems pretty immature to be honest, throwing around

childish words like douchebag against somebody you dont know...anyway i'll get right on it,i have an answered quote

for basically all posts here so ill get underway...(and before you start going on saying i have nothing better to

do...think again. I had a long day at work so i'll do whatever i like thank you.

You hear commentary at rugby games and other events...this is just a wee bit of teenage fun, simply a drive like all

other 'adrenalin' drives except filmed, on the road i've grown up with and have been driving since 15 and known since

much earlier years, so I know these roads very well (coming up here many times a week for whatever matter,

enjoying a sunday cruise, learning the roads and how to tackle corners or a wee bit of vtec fun). I wouldn't say it was

commentary....i was trying to get through my personality to the viewers of the video...it was nothing serious, like the

fricken world cup commentary or something...jeez!

P.S. Why am I a douche bag and do you actually know what they are?

Simply put for this one - I never said any of those things get your ears checked or your speakers fixed in this case, heh.

The first one i wouldnt have a clue, but the 2nd (at the end, when the ding happened[yea, not a crash...a ding]) I

actually said "...and thats the end of that!" with a big grin on my face(well to a degree...i'm not a nutter who enjoys

crashing, but if you want to go to the top with extreme sports/hobbies like these (or any for that matter...)you have to

make mistakes along the way.

What a cock though I was stoked when he pinned the bank at the end. At some points there i was geniuely scared just

watching it image being in the car with the mad bastard.
I was talking to the camera, I was alone and it was a nice day (rare in dndn winters!) and felt like a cruise with the

views just before i went to work that afternoon....so can you please tell me why i'm an apparent "cock" and why you

were stoked when i had a [very slight] accident [obviously slowed down enough to not have a serious crash...ever

think of that?].
Mad bastard? Ehem... i'd probably be pretty offended by that (but of course if i knew you, and it wasn't typed onto an

internet website...) but why, because i was driving fast? Fair enough, "if you can't handle speed you'll never

succeed"...but I'm not "mad", although i do enjoy the exilleration...so call me mad if you like but i'm never giving up

driving fast (of course i can see how you see me as mad by driving on a public road a 'little quick', but as i said earlier

i have THAT much confidence in myself driving that road, enough to know what corners are BLIND (cant see around

them.......) and the corners that arent, and if it was still on youtube i'd tell you to watch it again and look closely....do I

drive mad around blind corners, possibly putting oncoming traffic in danger? No...ME being the driver should KNOW

what corners i can see the road ahead on and those i cant, not only for safety but to get the right lines (cant wait 'til i

start targa or rally !!) umm where was i i'm lost lol

Okay, ive explained the rest (you now look like an idiot, congrats) but you are right with what you said there, but that

wasnt the case this time beleive it or not! With the prelude since i've owned it (i only had it about a month...and its

definatly not what i would call my 'pride and joy', it was brought as a run around, for A to B work driving [with a bit of

power when i need it] ), ive had that happen (at much slower speeds even) the brakes lock up (yes the ABS ANTI LOCK

BRAKES...I KNOW IT IS VERY IRONIC) on downhill + gravel (slashed my tyre on a gutter when slightly braked downhill

on that fucker bendy corner on lancefield street in caversham...ANYWAYYYYY go bloody on and on and on,but hey if

you don't like it dont read it...its not that big of a deal really is it unless you have some disease that makes you unable

to stop reading...ehem..

Tosser i think you meant...and is everybody who wants to learn motorsport a tosser? Mate.. not even. Seriously the

only reason i can think of why you are all calling me names is that i was driving fast. Driving fast is over rated if you

can't do it yourself...dangerous yes but only in unexperienced hands, and i'm not the most experienced driver in the

world BUT i do know that road very well. As said above.

Yep pretty much. I'm not saying i'd drive off a cliff intentially but i'd die happy if i were to go out doing what i love. We

all die some day right...did Hendrix die of old age? no...but he lived his life hard.

I'd agree 100% if I didn't know the highroad well, (the highroad = Highcliff rd, which wasnt the road i crashed

on...meaning i havnt been driving the downhill rd i locked up on for as long DOWNHILL but uphill i know it and love it

hard. And in that video it actually said "I love taking this road on the uphill...love hearin the vtec roar,it's a pretty nice

feeling..etc" but read above and you'll see that i didn't take any blind corners dangerously, so i could always see

whats ahead...and if i couldnt i stayed in my lane - but you didnt notice when you watched the vid, did you? Probably

because all of you guys seem to be playing follow the leader...all being uptight about this for any conclusion you can

jump to without knowing the driver.

I thought this was a Honda enthusiest website...or was I wrong?
Like i said in the video (ive repeated this alot considering you all WATCHED the vid?) preludes are actually pretty fun

to drive!! First honda ive owned (being scepticle after all i've heard..."NERR HONDAS" (ugh, minors) it being close to

200 horse stock, comfortable and warm (back to the power!) with that vtec tht just feels so good at max RPM then

upshift...i was pleasantly suprised, and in the time i owned it i [[[[without effort might i add]]] dragged off many cars i

thought i have trouble with, gtst skyline (take that turbo lag) and even a type r integra (those things as u may know are

worth an easy 10g for a tidy one) so don't go calling me a tool for experimenting with a vtec honda because to be

honest it'd probably eat up your car no worries *hoping for the sake of embarresment you don't have a 500 horse type r

* but to be honest i'd never own one again, basically because i don't like the interior being really cramped and many

other reasons...but the engines fun to play with thats for sure...
If by loose you mean a slight drift then yea, i felt the tail coming out a fair bit but i didn't act on it...being my first

semi-powerful front wheel drive car i dont yet like getting FWD's loose because it feels...weird! I'll die in a RWD or a

4WD...not a FWD shall we say..

Redneck...aye? This isnt the American south dude there are no red necks here and if there are i'm certainly not one...

Oh noes - locking up the ABS!

I wonder if he's ever wondered what ABS stands for?

Hmm let me see... i once heard of this 6-second ABS i wonder if that may be it...
Have you driven a Prelude downhill on an [over]gritty road? I've driven RWD cars much harder than that and gotten

the tail out but NEVER had the brakes lock up like that in any car EVER and ive owned a fair few cars in my

time(ehem...18 years...what can you really expect from an 18 year old 'motorsport enthusiest'? The law is restricted

lisence = 15yrs 6 months minimum...so do you really see as keen drivers out there as me? I think thats a good thing for

future motorsport! GO HARD!
From what i saw in the Prelude compared to other cars ive driven is that it's too 'artificle' and you don't get much feel

of the road, there's alot of plasticy bullshit, shall we say...things like ABS powersteering etc, and i truely beleive it was

the ABS unable to handle the grit on the road, slowing down at that speed (you have to remember i was going pretty

fast and had to slow down very quickly, downhill on a road with a fair amount of grit)...and if i allowed a tiny more

room for braking i wouldnt have locked up, but i wouldnt have needed to if i knew it couldnt handle the grit! Preludes

are...soso...basically the only good thing in em is the power although they handle pretty well i have to admit.

Yes it's in dunners and I am alone. Bet you all didn't think i'd read this now did you? If you really put the facts together

and open your mind a bit (loosen the fuck up, some would say, but not me...not even taking into account that a fellow

kiwi wants to take up motorsport as a hobby and hopefully a lifetime lasting thrill!) you'd understand that ive done

nothing wrong except speeding 'safely' as possible. I havnt yet had the chance to have a track day, and still need a

car that can handle what i will do to it on a track...because you need money for serious motorsport...but some day

very soon all of my potential (i beleive, but say what you will) will be put to the test on a track, and taken off the road!!

Cant frikkin wait for a track day, targa or other event..!

Look up the word douchebag. You might find that it's not actually offensive although i can understand where you may have got it from...cartoons..

Actually, the bumper support was the highest amount of damage that was caused...meaning there were a few other

things but they were much minor! Being the indicator bulb fell out when the wire thing it's connected to drooped down

(hell i'm no mechanic lol...yet) and a very slight crack in the very corner of the bumper where, might i add, it was

already patched up from a previous owner's ding..and of course, which you can't forget, a huge chunk of mud and

grass that got stuck under the skirt....ouch, thats a biggie!!!!! Call the panelbeater...we've got a big problem here!

There is no lying in the video or on this page, simply put.

I dont "rant" at all, what are you on about? You don't know the meaning of rant because that wasnt it,i don't hate

FWDs i say i PREFER rear or all wheel drives(more grip thru corners for 4wd, get the tail loose in rear!) and I NEVER

said laurels,s12 and mr2s are better those are a few of my previous cars i mentioned....you really couldn't hear my

talking very well could you? Not suprising though...it wasn't meant to be a 'masterpeice, professional rally vid' lol

which probably explains why the majority of you all mis heard alot of what i said...

"Fails that badly in a FWD..." A bumper pin is the worst damage i did....I think a tomestone and funeral is in order,

dont you? Dude, seriously...a little over exagerating there..it was a little unfortunate that the brakes locked up on the

grit but at least i slowed down enough to simply break a bumper pin...i wasn't going slow on that str8 since they were

all clear corners and i could have been going alot faster when i hit that bank if i didnt slow down enough...unlike you

would all care by the looks of things...sounds like i have a bunch of people who want to kill me or something! lol so

much hate. Argh, you're kiwis! why so much hate towards me...i'm no aussie!

you vtec nuts know what im on about!). Makes me think...unless you were having a friendly laugh because i was

allgud about having a crash, or that i ended my driving with a very small accident...(well not ended, the cars handling

wasnt effected at all so back down that road and onto the bay roads after that. Although i dont take the bayroads as

hard,as its alot more public and blind.

Ahh Caleb, caleb caleb. You're still a little shakey kid who wants to be like the rest...give it a rest, i never did anything

to you to make you give random people over the internet my personal bebo information, which is why i made it

private and deleted the video simply because i don't want any un needed shit (something you may learn

from...showing off your DRIVING FINES like they are cool. Who want's to pay fines? I've had a fair amount of

experience in all aspects of driving considering my age from my point of view and ive only had a few speeding tickets

and two driving on learners fines a few years back, yet you must be one of the most irrisponsible drivers on the roads

to do all of that shit and still feel good about it

[notice how you are all calling me this mad, irresponsible driver while you clearly dont know the people who are posting on your website, like this guy here with his big list of fines including dangerous driving...hell, why dont i just copy/paste everyone the list, eh?]

Dangerous driving, $1130
not stopping for police

You're going to stir things up because....i....? Finish that sentance for me please...cheers. If you're going to say what

seems to be the clear cut answer read above and if you have any sense, or 'know' any roads off by heart yourself

you'll know what i mean (after driving the same road for years and years you kinda get the hang of it...). I'm not

somebody who would speed up when i saw a bus full of school children or an old lady crossing the street etc...for fuck

sake no, if i saw there was any threat to pedestrians or other drivers i'd slow down. I'd tell you to observe my video

more, but it's too late now since all of this bull crap has made me take it off ... not making any dent in my driving, so

congrats for a big pile of nothingness. (although i have to admit, i am very close to having a track day which means i

won't be needing the streets to practise on).

Tell your uncle's neighbour to TELL YOU to use your eyes...theyre the two ball-like things in your head just above your

nose. You may have seen them in a mirror before? Yea...i didn't hit his fence, i hit a bank and was in a small ditch that

i easily got out of.

So tell your uncle's neighbour sorry for stealing some of your mud and grass from the bank when i hit it...

---

I usually don't spend this much time on explaining things like thi, especially to randoms over the internet.........but this

time, when people start saying some of the shit here for godknows reasons i think it's worth the time(and now that iv

finished a long day at work i can do what i like).

I'm not a bad preson so don't make me look like one.
I know highcliff rd like the back of my hand, and the other road not as much, but still very well (and better yet on the

uphill), I stay in my lane when i cant see the road ahead and when i can, i cut the corner (seen a taxi cut a corner

today with a car full of passengers, cutting over a giveway almost hitting me)...It's not uncommon, but atleast mine

was used with commen sense...

etc. I really don't care what comes after this, because ive pretty much said all i needed to say and it sounds

reasonable to me, so unless you have some major thing against genuine kiwi car enthusiests don't bother with any

more ranting (One of the guys above now knows what ranting means, yay) but hey, you do what you like...either way

it'd tell me what kind of person you are.

Cya,and i really hate to take that vid from youtube, it being another thing im interested in...making movies...the first

driving vid i've made and it's taken away from other viewers for this dumb reason. Oh well...guess ill start up driving

vids again when i have my first track day and a new toy to play in! tata til you see me mackin' it around in a targa or on a track in the not 2 distant future...

iis niice like-a borat

Seems like you're trying to go out of your way to make me look bad?

Practise makes perfect...
You're basically emplying that nobody makes mistakes when learning?
I'm sure possum bourne had a mistake-free career, and lead up to his career! Twat.

Try reading, throwing a fucking bone, loosen the fuck up and SHUT the fuck up. Somebody had to say it, shit. Hey how about this? Young car enthusiests should all turn into rapists, murders and drug dealers! That'll take them away from the roads!!

Because you don't know me doesn't mean you can call me an immature loser. I'm sure you've never broken any law before am I right? Fuck off...no one likes a goodie two shoes

(lets all stick up for the guy with the high number of forum posts coz he looks cool)

I see that alot on sites like these. thats basically why i dont use them. garr im a pirate
It feels good to stir shit up now doesn't it..

FFS, I actually read most of that drivel. OK, I'm only going to bother with this bit:

Quote:

GO HARD!
So you're 18. When I was 18 I was a fan-friggin-tastic driver. In the 15 years since then, I've got much better, but I'd still only rate myself as an average driver. Looking back, I was a shit driver when I was 18. I drove fast-ish sometimes, thought I was bloody good, but in reality I was C-R-A-P.

You my young friend, have a serious case of overconfidence. You can blame the ABS, the car's lack of feel, the grit on the road, that you were too busy talking, whatever you want.

The reason you crashed (not actually going that fast I might add), is that you fucked up and didn't have the skills or experience to drive out of it.

What's worse is you're doing it on public roads, which is what makes you an ass-hat/douchebag/cock/tool.

Dude, put the self-glory video camera away, save up some money and do some local car club events (on the track or closed roads). Make everyone happy.
