Why would I have brought 17s when I wanted 15s ...

A bigger wheel isnt neccersarily a better wheel ...

How many people have to state the obvious of why they like and want 15s before it gets through to you ...

Go post on honda-tech and get owned

It's got to be bullshit that sirwags_np works for the mag place...
He has almost sweet Fuck all knowledge on the subject.

Perhaps school holidays have come early?

I think the misunderstanding here is we're talking about why us Honda owners choose smaller wheels for our Civics, Integras, CRX's etc, that's what works best for our smaller/lighter cars. Generally we wont need that BIG'a brakes to warrant going for a 17/18/19" wheel, unless we're packing some serious power I guess . Those who do go big because that's what they like (or for the street cred ) well then good on them, their car, their choice. By all means bigger Hondas like Accords, Torneos(sp?) etc look better (IMO) with bigger wheels, no doubt they handle better too ...depending on the car, suspension, rims/tyres etc, heck heaps of things.

You're talking about Nissans, a bigger car with a bigger kw figure and bigger brakes will no doubt need bigger wheels .

So what are we talking about here ? Race cars or "street cars" ?

If you've read any of the informative posts you should understand why us Honda owners (with the smaller cars anyway IMO) choose to run 15/16" wheels by now.

The benefits way out weigh the street cred. 8)

hahaha that haterade didnt go down to well did it?
I have done some analysis from the 7 pages of information on this topic i have conluded that:
1. You are a knob
2. You shouldnt own/work in a mag and tyre shop
3. You have a fetish with wheels fitting over brakes
4. The reason why MOST hondas use 15/16' wheels is to keep everything in proportion.
5. We do this so we dont look like knobs
6. repeate 1-3

my employer would prefer that the entire topic is removed as we are sponsers of the ss2000 race class, and certain members of this forum are trying to drag our name through the mud.

The main reason i made the topic was to be imformative to those in the business of mag wheels, but members of the forum decided to personally attack me, to which i lashed out.

if you could please sort this matter out asap it would be appreciated.
