I rock 17s on my teg which are kinda a bit heavy for my current setup but should aid my traction in future when going forced induction churning out double the current power output

Though I would much prefer to rock 16" lightweight gunmetal gray rotas with a polished dish!

And this thread has become quite entertaining I must admit heh.

Ahh, just kidding. Just wanted to say this has to be the most retarded, yet most entertaining thread in a while.

How many 300kw atfw civics are there? Seriously?

How much time did he spend trying out different solutions to that problem, or did he go "I have too much power, I must have bigger brake discs"?? In fact, it wouldn't surprise me that the reason he went for the bigger diameter discs was based upon your advice, rather than trial and error.

British Touring Car teams also spend more money on car development than most people will on a house. The bigger the wheel, the more problems you encounter with the suspension and finding the "sweet" settings, the more it costs to solve those problems and get those settings.

And how does what wheel size a BTCC car run afect what size wheel I should put on my street driven Accord?? That is like saying I SHOULD put 20" (or whatever size it is) wheels on my Commodore because thats what the V8 supercars are using...

You still haven't said why 15" wheels are too small for a street car, other than "they aren't big enough", which is a nebulous answer at best. I'm waiting...

Maybe some of use Honda driver's are not insecure enough to need to bee seen with the local car-sluts to have some self-esteem.
Sirwags you are a complete moron, why not have a lil' respect for all car makes, im a nissan boy through and through but its single minded pricks like you that ruin NZ's car culture. As has already been stated the lighter, least bump steer, quickest acceleration, least rubbage wheel on a Honda is most likely going to be a 15-16" wheel thats why many of the Honda boys use them, on the other hand thats why Nissan fans go for the 18-19" work/wedsport/rays wheels they're putting massive power down on larger cars, so therefore a larger wheel will benefit them.

Ignorance FTW! (Vote Hall of Lol)

Dude....you just got owned big time..I cant stop laughing

All i can say is

It would be mildly amusing if you were some stupid 15yo punk, but its not school holidays yet....but no - you manage a tyre and mag dealership

Notice that your stock of 15 and 16inch rims is going to go nowhere now, due to the fact that you've told everyone that they need 20's

the 300 kw civic was built by brent lander, it is blue, and was tuned by speedfactor in tauranga. it is also pictured in the add for the s2000 race series. the customer came to me after he did his brake upgrade and then found out he couldnt fit his 16"s.
