Yup, I agree 100%, but as has been said time and time and time again, there's nothing to suggest the manager was being racist.

The inital poll/problem here is about racism. There was no racial based decisons made, unless the op comes back and enlightens us more.

There is a difference between steriotypes and racism. Even if your assumption is true and he did believe you owned a take-aways because you are asian, he banned you because he thought you were a trade customer, NOT simply because you were asian.

Where have you gotten stereotyping from?

You've gotten so outraged at him assuming what their intentions were, yet you've been making your own assumptions the whole time

The manager could have genuinely thought he recognised them and that they had been shopping in bulk multiple times. That's against company policy, so he acted upon it. The whole situation got blown out of proportion due to the fact that the only person who can understand and speak English fluently was telling him to fuck off you fucking racist....

Why are you assuming that because he's a white person in a position of authority that he was acting racist towards them?
If he was an Asian would you still be saying he was racist?
If he had ordered a trespass notice on a group of white shoppers would he be racist?

am i missing something here,?! isnt the o.G problem about the guy with his family going into the store to buy veges, and then getting kicked out because shop management believes they are bulk buying for a business?! in this case, he is asian. he must be buying for a chinese takeaways!.

this would not have happend if he was another race. would they have anything to say to a group buying sacks of 20kg spuds for a hangi?! i highly doubt it.

I was at Glenfield foodtown, while I was at checkout, this Asian (Korean I think, telling by the accent) woman was throwing a fit, she was bitching about something and want to return it or some shit, she was throwing her groceries on the ground, she throw one of the canned foods and nearly hit an elderly woman, unfortunately I didn't capture the climax, all I manage to capture was her bitching afterwards.
