Awesome vid! I assume that s2k was an AP2 with the F22C? Since he said it revved to 8400rpm instead of 9000rpm. The Mugen RR was awesome!

Thumbs up Fifth Gear: Civic Mugen RR Vs S2000
Agreed.
I've always watched Fifth Gear over Top Gear because of its drivers.
But the most recent, and current series of Fifth Gear has really improved.
I only wish I could enter their competitions, as their prize cars are to this day still fantastic choices!

Also if I'm very much not mistaken, the S2000 featured is the F20C powered AP1.
Not the F22C powered AP2.
As the EU, like NZ, still sells the AP1 rather than the AP2.
Which I notice apart from the AP2's improved gear ratios, Keichi Tsuchiya still prefers the AP1 of the two.

I think it is a unfair comp, they should comp by Mugen/spoon basically tuned s2000 vs Mugen RR Civic. Tuned s2000 will have much quicker time than stock.
