Damn he is lucky to be alive, good choice of music makes the video stronger and more emotional somehow.

Re: Tetsuya Ota-Hard Crash

Jeez, they seem to be more interested in saving the cars than the drivers.. clip at 2.30 where they pull him out with a completely toasted helmet, then just leave him lying there, and he staggers around and falls over. WTF is with that? I understand the need to control the fire, prevent explosions with the race gas and all that, but there seemed to be plenty of other people on the scene by then..

Re: Tetsuya Ota-Hard Crash

Reminds me of a V8 Supercar incident at Oran Park, must be 10 years ago now. But the V8 Supercar safety people were a bit more organised.

Re: Tetsuya Ota-Hard Crash

Holy shit, that's intense.

As said can't believe they left the driver to just hang around by himself! There should have been someone there pinning him to the ground until a medic could check him out.

Re: Tetsuya Ota-Hard Crash

thats suck a well made video, almost makes you emotional seeing someone suffer like that. amazing how they seem more interested in the cars than helping the people.

Re: Tetsuya Ota-Hard Crash

And I thought my rolling off a back road and down into a valley was scary. Turns out being in a car suspended by branches does not beat being in a car engulfed in flames.

And yeah, the rescue seemed a bit lax.
