If you like your aircooled VW's....

...then you'll love these.

I do anyways, my god these things are perfect... been a fan of this look for ages... sucks that Hoodride is dead and gone cos there were some amazing machines on there.

Hottest Type 2 ever!

Basically looks like it should be in the scrap yard, but all mechanicals are sweet, kinda like a rat rod in a way but doesnt have to be period style mods

Squareback/Fastback > Notchie

Looks a little cooler, + has bootspace in the front, and the back.

Someone, somewhere in Gerrrmany has a splittie with a 3.6 Ruf-charged Porsche motor, doing about 900ps. there's a vid of if blitzing past a Ferrari down the main straight of the ring, at three-hundred-and-something km/h.

Focused around 'patina' but it really almost ended up a lifestyle choice if you believed a lot of what was on the forums...

Hoodride died, due to the founder collecting an AWFUL lot of money for merch and other stuff, as I understand, and shooting the gap with it thus, causing the death of Hoodride. Stink really.
