Location: Upper Hutt  | That looked like the 350 that was on display (in it's destroyed state) at TAS a few years back, I don't recall anything about the engine going pop, the one from a few years back was a tyre blow out or something? Could be different cars though.

Location: Upper Hutt | well from what I made of it, at that speed he tried to clutch start it after dying, and that caused the tyre to pop. man you can feel his pants filling as it starts to get all wavey. So basicly I just want to say, to those who are very young, trying to do high speed runs....what would you do?

Location: Auckland | I remember standing in front of this wreck @ TAS in... 2003? It was pretty knocked up - and it was driven by Dai-san, editor of Option Magazine. I remember at the time someone at the stand told me the crash was due to a blown tyre, didn't realise it was because of engine failure. Nevertheless, impressive work... |
