CPYCAT - White S15 Spec R STOLEN

Yep... Another car gone.

Two weekends ago, driver's side window was smashed. I shrugged it off and thought nothing about it. Got it fixed.

Yesterday night/early this morning, it was taken. I have a 5 star Dynatron alarm for those who are quick to abuse.

This is the second performance car taken off me and quite frankly, I'm sick of it.

- The car is standard, has SPEC R badge on the driver's side, no badges on the passenger side.
- NZ new, so it has the NISSAN badge at the front.
- No badges on the back.
- Right hand side of the rear bumper (driver's side) has a slight crack.

Not asking to flame or anything but more interested to know so that others can reflect on where there cars are parked and with any luck prevent their cars suffering the same fate.

There isn't a driveway to my place as the house is way below road level.
If I was to rewind time, I don't think I could have done anything different other than to sit next to the car with a shotgun to guard it all night and every night for that matter.

I've also come to the point where I don't feel much anymore. Owning a performance car isn't the same now as what it used to be 10 years ago. I'm not upset or angry, more like disappointed that I've given this performance car thing another crack after I've had my Type R stolen before.

I guess my next car will be a Hyundai or something totally undesirable. Actually I probably might not even buy another car, probably ride my CBR as a daily...

yea some areas close to the city are a bitch like that...ponsonby is another area where there is no off street parking etc.

Yep, it is standard. More standard now than when I got it. I changed the exhaust back to OEM. Took out the front mount that was just bolted on. Still on standard rims and everything. And yep, it is the 5 speed one from Tron.

The police are on the look-out for it.

They won't be idiots. Having a S15 your probly a member of NSNZ. Check out the stolen thread on there, theres a pro gang going round taking silvias in Auckland over the last 4 months. Three of my mates have had their S14's taken up there.

It won't be a 'big fat cheque' as I only have 3rd party on this car, insured at market value. Full insurance costs too much because I've had a Type R stolen from me.

And thanks, but no thanks. Jazz's give me road rage. If you can find me a FD2 for the same price then I'll consider. Haha
