Car Broken Into

Hey guys just got my vr4 broken into about 30mins ago... the car was park up our long drive 1m away from front door and 2m away from bedroom yet they still broken in... whats worse i was awake at the time and sprinted out the door only to see a car take off fast round a corner so i missed the number plate

They took my valentine 1 radar.. very annoyed if i cant even park up a driveway that you can only see the rear of the car from and thats it.. where am i to park now?

will take photos and post when its lighter outside.

Bugger dude. They've obviously seen your radar detector, and specifically targetted you

I hate these losers, they should just find a job and buy one. Turning to a criminal just because of a radar. There's like special sale at Parallel Imported $79 for a Cobra radar.

Sucks dude, I hate how confident these crooks are.

Makes me feel uneasy parking my ride on the street...

Re: Car Broken Into

Sorry to hear bro. It seems they've been targeting radars quite recently. It sucks big time.

Got insurance? Most insurance companies cover radars if they're hard wired.

Re: Car Broken Into

I dont get why these threads come up, id understand if it were a car as they can be tracked (take my situation for example) but when it comes to radars n stuff, why post up a thread about it.. just out of interest? I bet the suckers atleast were left on the windscreen, i had my old 300 broken into for that very reason BUT i didnt make a thread about it!

In auckland maybe, but down here it is policy to attend every break in and fingerprint, be it car or house.

nah i am being serious.

I live in the country in Hamilton, as i said, our property is under a lot of surveillance with a hell of a lot of lighting around the place.

My driveway is off the road quite a bit.

safe as houses

So that will be handy when they wear dark clothing, caps pulled down, steal (easily) your car to joyride and then torch?

Yes you might have them on tape, but your car's gone and beyond repair.

What's your address?
