As others have noted, Mr. Gecko must be a bit busy to answer all his PM's, so could someone please send me the payment details, I would like to secure a spot! (Just wondering, is there an Uber-Noob class for people like me with no track experience????)

get a bracket made that locks in when you close the door, and the camera screws into

I'v got a few cameras and a few different SD cards. I'm going to try making a mount to go into the passenger seat headrest mount. Will trial it on the road and see how bumpy is, being mounted to the seat. If it works, anyone who has a standard passenger seat can borrow it and i'll post up videos online or make a copy for you.

i rock one of these in the da, its a tv mount thing out of an oddessy bolts to the 2 headrest prongs. if your passenger seat doesnt move around alot its pretty good, but if its empty mine shakes a fair bit and ya can hear it thru the camera.

couple of vids showing what its like. and it IS a cheap ass camera too tho...

I had one in my ITR, mount it on rubber. Stops the chatter you get.

And believe me its WORSE on the track They arent as smooth as you thing when your doing 180+ rofl

Ill try capture some old footage from taupo and upload it.

I might even be able to get the camera mount and bring it up for someone if they are really interested. . Bolts into DC2, has to be stripped as it uses the rear seat belt holes, and one near the handbrake.
