Cheers for the day Jacky and all who helped.

not sure if anyone was doing really quick times?
I know me, andrew in the 1600cc and ian were all doing 13.6's

my P.B best today was 13.633 @100.52
andrews 1600cc is still slightly faster with a 13.61x

Editing some videos Will be up soon.

Thanks Jacky for organising the event and the people who helped out, had a great time!

Track wasnt as good as last year so i reckon everyone ran a tiny slower. Track wasn't warm enough to get good traction.

Anyways i got a best of 14.0s, with consistant 14.1 and 14.2s. Best trap speed 99.82mph, reaction time .027

Got shit as times this time around, last year my best ET was 14.62, this year started off with a string of 15.3's then started running 15.0's constantly, best ET of the day was a 15.009

Was good fun though, struggling for traction all day gave Frank a workout. Time for tyres for me!

Thanks again everyone who helped out

What a day!

Didn't kick off to good start, met up with Sam (Coupe-R) and found I had an exhaust leak before we headed up
Managed to lead the poor guy through a maze of road works/goat tracks and got stuck behind cattle trucks in the rain that had cow shit dripping off them on the way up after he had given black beauty a good scrub after sitting in the garage for months ops:

I only got two (well, one and a half) runs in before snapping an engine mount,
which seemed to be the order of the day as both americ-ian and Mike D broke one aswell
No traction in first, second and a bit of third

Bonnet's closed

Bonnet recieved a fair wack

That'll buff right out

Engine rocked so much it smashed the FPR off the firewall

The culprit

Even with my minor setbacks, I think the Jtune boys put on a great day even with the crappy weather!
Big ups to Jackie, Allan and Davy for a great event! Cheers guys!

On a side note, WTF's up with the Champion/Fram dragway?!
The entry to the gates is like driving over mini mesa tops and the return lane is facked too!
In 6 months are we going to be dodging potholes in the track? The state of the venue is apalling to say the least!

Sorry about the lack of pics, I got a bit depressed and decided to call it a day early, so I had plently of time to nurse the car home incase anything went wrong. Hope you all had a great time

It was a great day even with all the showers during the start and at the end. Everyone had a good run for their money. Thanks to all that turned up and for the ones that didn't....turn up next year rain or shine and you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't bring DYWLKR down because I brought my wife down with me who is due to give birth any minute. Otherwise, I would have given Ian a run for his money.
