Location: Hamilton  | Hello from a newbie from the UK! Hey there Moved over to NZ about 2 months ago and it's taken me a while to find the site! Used to have plenty of Hondas back in the UK but i had to sell my last one before i came over. Hope to get back into the scheme of things soon anyway but heres a few pics of my last EG i had.   Had a Funny stage to with some BMW wheels, kinda liked them but they only last a week but the full set cost me $25 with tyres     Spec of the car was as follows - JDM DC2 shocks with Tein Springs DC2 2.6 steering rack PAS removal Lots of JDM goodies but there the norm over here! lol EG6 alloys in champ white EG6 front lip Futisubo manifold DC2 2.25" B-pipe Spoon N1 AEM v2 (not shown in those pics) D15b2 block D16z6 Head D15b vtec cam p08 inlet manifold p28 ECU with basic Crome setup Was a very basic setup on that car but it was perfect for the poor quality back roads in the UK, i wanted to go lower but practicality just wasn't for it. From what i'm told here as well we have a noise restriction as well don't we?? With the spoon is was 110db at 4000rpm so i 'm guessing thats why i've not seen to many over here? Will post up some more pictures in a bit of my other hondas. Chris

Location: Hastings | Left-handed shocker sticker looks weird after all the right-handers I've seen... Welcome. The EG looks tidy. :thumbsup: New exhaust noise laws are coming in/are here, 95dB max for cars that were in the country before yada, or 90dB after, or 95dB if they were manufactured before blah and in the country before wibble but 90dB if...etc. I lost track.

Location: Hamilton | I'm an engine builder by heart, used to work mainly on Historic Aston Martin and Porsche' back in the UK but i'm doing a lot more commercial work now i'm over. Really enjoying it so far, had more sun in these two months than i've had in my other 20 years put together i reckon!!

Location: Hamilton | My current ride is a bit different! 83 civic 8) If you live around H'town you will prob have seen it. bought it local about a month ago, it's bone stock and i'm trying to keep it that way as i know it could chew major money!

Location: Hamilton | For anyone interested in a direct comparision here are my dyno graphs in whp from a stock DPFI d15b2 to a MPFI swap with a d16z6 vtec head. At this point no other parts were changed! Proof of big gains with doing a mini-me on a d15!   A stock p28 was being used at this point to with the timing corrected using a d16y8 pulley Also just found a later pic with the AEM v2

Location: Hamilton | Seems to be a few Hamilton fellows posting up!! Is there a regular meet yet going up in Hamilton for Hondas one night of the week? If not should get one going! I did alot of the event organisation back in the uk so i don't mind putting some time aside and getting a meet going some where once a week or something round h'town! Would be good to get to know a few of you guys and see how the kiwi cars compare!

Location: Hamilton | had one last weekend in fact.... but most of us are lazy... and half our cars are half build.. sitting in the garage... hence... the bickering between the h-town folk there is the anual NZH South Island megameet in a week.... bbq, beers, bitches?(sloteg) and racing! (track racing) NIMM of course wil be later in the year... but there are always smaller meets going on

Location: Tauranga | Lolz at hamilton meets I almost made it to the one last weekend..got to see weaksos and have mean number 4's Oh and a ride in the DC5 ^_^I wouldnt hold you breath on a hamz meet, they are just as slack as us Tauranga bunch :\
