ahem

I assume its for clearence issues? Either that or they were easier to make like that by just welding an extension onto a steely or something.

I think its to make the overall width of the car wider, helps to get extra traction. Im sure thats what ive heard before, i could be wrong though.

Widened steelies are the best kind of wheel ever.

having them out there just slows the car down, wheels are a huge cause of drag on a car... that why most cars have them covered by fenders, gaurds etc, and open wheel cars used diffusers etc to move air arround them in a way that reduces drag

theres no real reason to have them out there, its just stupid and slowing the car down

look cool tho ops:

There is a real reason in circut racing, maybe not drag racing.

Looking cool is a perfectly valid reason!

It's a B310 Nissan Sunny California.... not a performance machine Looks absolutely spot on perfect, christ I love that.... Tokyo subway handle ftw, OMG it just oozes 'right' from every angle does that thing. Goddamn I love Garuchan styled cars....

Pink Sportmaxes look sweet on the DelSol too! I am so keen for some pink rims on SOMETHING one day.... *looks at dished Work Equip 03's in the garage...*
