I agree in a slightly different way. All this "slamming" has gotten out of control. They're down to the point where they're spending a crapload of money altering the shock towers, pumping the guards etc, just so the car can get so low it'll bottom out on cats eyes. It's gone past the point of lowering it for performance and into form over function. Which, imho, strays dangerously close to the "r" word. Sure they may be "JDM" wheels and all but to me that's ruined by using them in an impractical manner. While I never agreed JDM was the new rice, I'd say new JDM is the new rice.

I'd say they don't care about performance but look at the turbo in it. I'd say they don't care about practical performance. Might as well live on a stand at HIN/AS.

Pics of hot USDM cars with roofracks please

(If anyone has some)

As for stupid lowness..... Looks good but not practical, good for a 'show' car, not for a race car. Thats why you get adjustable

I think they're called hardparkers over on HT.
Performance modifications on a car that will never be used or never see the track

I get what your saying and also kind of agree. But its fine if someone wants to modify for looks its just a different tier of modification. Function and racing are just not on some peoples agenda. Especially in California per say where its becoming increasingly harder to do engine swaps legally etc.

Re: Post up Honda-Tech's WHORE

dont forget alot of those here in NZ who bov and wastegate for the noise.. same deal they are just for the function side.. its not your car just a shame to those who prefer differnet.

everyone has different style, needs and values in life...so be it

We need more CF4/CL1 pics. I raided the olds' pc and found these which I downloaded a few years ago. Bit over candy blue though.
