And yea, it would have to have those groundcontrol tophats to get that low. It's all relative in the same area.I am trying to find a page which actually lists what has been done, but all I find is pic threads .

And yep they just cut the top out of the strut tower so the upper control arm has more room to move up. I was going to do this but my painter was a cock bag, glad I didn't haha. Well wouldn't have to have those hats to get that low got grinder lolOffset: there's extended top hats on the coil overs and cut sheet metal on the strut towers, they are different. |

All they do is move the mount of the spare up higher so the travel remains the same. Maybe splitting hairs but it only offsets the travel over how much you lower it, travel is travel. Also might want to note that you will be much more likely so smash your strut towers with them, sucks up a lot of droop (anyone care?) & you'll probably still be on the GC bump stops a bit. Eh, I'd get them, they look cool ![]() | |

Yes you do need to relieve a section for the UCA if you want to go as low as the EG up there, as you can see in the pic. Or you could just take your bumstops right out and smash a hole in it like you H-town EK'ers ![]()

Bozzy had konis in his silver ek intead of buying those extended top hats to keep the coilovers captive like above he just sent them in and got them to put some sort shim in the shock so it could not get its full travel while still being adjustable.

It's only 4 or 5 nuts to put a wheel on wheres the genius? The rear camber and staggered wheels on the DC is kak imo if it had the fronts on the back it would be 10x better. Maybe even the other way round but that much camber makes it look retarded... |

Must be jdm.... |
