Thanks NZHondas but.....

I'd just like to thank everyone that has supported me racing my car..
But as of today the civic has moved on into someone elses hands..
I dont know when it will be out running again or what it will be powered by, since I kept all my running gear etc..

I'd especially like to thank..
My partner Lauren,
NZhondas especially people like Adam, Frank, Ian, Chris, Woody, Wazza etc..
FBI performance.. (paul, adam, brendon, colin)
Collier motor engineers (levin)
Carrera sport (piriongia)
Strong for Honda (auckland)
Doug and Dereck from Hondata Usa
Brian crower
the team from K20A.org
RallyAs
Top gear autotech
and Speed Factor for helping out in the start..

I'm sure there has been many more people that have helped out etc along the way..
I've meet a ton of people at drag meets and enjoyed meeting most of them..

I decided to stop racing due to a lack of enjoyment in the sport, with rule changes, support issues, personal reasons, business expansion etc all playing a part in the decision to pull the plug..
I can also say that I will probably be back to the sport in the next few years with something different, and will try to attend a few night speeds etc in my new car..

anyway Thanks heaps everyone..

You forgot to mention that the vtec is running 28psi, the supercharger-turbocharger combo is pushing out 21psi

don't kill this thread guys, Gary has been a huge contributor to the nz import scene especially for Hondas.

Sad to see your car of the track Gary but im sure youll be back with something better 1 day.

and his car is a eg hatch drag car with a N/A k20a best time of 11.3 i believe.

yeah we ran a PB of 11.30 @ 191kmh at the start of last season..
during the season we found abit more power but were unable to use it..
I dont think 10's were that far away having run a 12.2 @ 194kmh during testing with a missed gear change..

anyway I have a new toy to focus my attention and time on.. So see you all at a track soon..

well I've actually sold almost everything honda I own..
only exception is I have my DC2 which is currently being modified..

I've sold my Euro, my race car, all my K20A engines etc's..

even laurens mirage has been sold..

alot has been sold to finance my tax bill (think over the average NZ wage).. thanks uncle Helen... for the tax cut...

Plus having the DC2 it will be a bit more multi-purpose and since its not hugely $$$$$ i'm not going to be as worried about putting it into the wall at a track day..
