Ok I actually went out to check this out as i was pretty interested in purchasing it, Me and 22 went to give it an inspection. The engine work is pretty impressive as there is mugen gear.

However the interior requires a little tidy up. There were holes in the carpet where the cage went through and also few scratches and dents in the console. But im pretty picky.
The exterior is reasonably tidy, bit of surface rust around the boot hinges and in the boot well.

When we went for a test drive the the 4th syncro was on its way out, however he did say he was getting this replaced which i think he may already have done.
But overall if the price came down a bit then this wouldnt be a bad buy has some potential after a good tidy up.
But if your dead set keen on it i suggest come down have a look for yourself and see what you think. Hope this helps.

icic cool, coz it's kinda a mission for me to go down all the way to wellington, so approximately how long ago did you test drive it?

also rust in the boot and surface, does that mean anything?coz i thought if there is rust in any way, it's always good to look out more..?

also how's the recaro seat look?from the photo it looks mint, how abt in real?thx

i just would like to get more info abt it b4 i go down there..thx

That's a BIG turn-off for me. Almost definitely means it's been raced in Japan. Plus at $18,000 it's expensive.

Went for 15mins or so. Surface rust could lead to more rust build up which isnt the best thing to have.

Recaro seats looked fine, no rips.

But there was cut on each side on the console where the cage was. so yer maybe give him a call and sort something out.

Its not a shabby looking CTR.. but as Ali said theres a few nips and nabs on the dash, scratches etc.. nothing major but if your picky about it then it may affect your purchasing behaviour (fresh from uni)

Other than that its stacked out with JDM gears, full Mugen exhaust, intake. Greddy gauges, GAB adjustable suspension, Cusco rear strut bar, VAFC-II..

Not a bad CTR at the end of the day.
