Location: Auckland | Honda 1996 Rafaga 2.0cs new owner Ive recently perchased one of those unheard of hondas, a red Rafaga... 2 Litre 5 cylinder thing. Makes 118kw not to bad for a Non Vtec and is around 1280kg Performance is reasonable in stock form but will definately need some larger white wheels and a lowered a couple of inches.. Has recaro seats in it as well. Any one know if that common for the cs model to have them? id think they have been added by one of the previous owners but not sure on that. Anyway heres some pictures of it, fully stock ![]() Slight scrap on front left but will soon be repaired ![]() Quite nice basic recaros - give it a more sporty feel ![]() |

| Senior Member 6,000rpm (Max Torque) | sounds excellent good to see another ascot/rafaga fan of the 5 cylinder BTW i hate you ....... ......... i want those seats  i can put you onto the man to talk to if you want to do any suspension work done. first mod should be a pod filter as they have an awesome induction noise and it's real easy to bolt one straight onto the end ot the stock plastic pipe where the airbox sits. if you need a hand pm me. bring it along to the next auckland meet and we can park next to eachother ![]() ![]()

Location: Auckland | One thing i have to do first is take out that cheap plastic grill on the bonnet and replace it with some black mesh - makes quite a difference Like this One has had done ![]() TRI MAGS kill this a bit - but looks very nice still Eventually i hope with in the next month replace the stock 15's with some 5 or 6 spoke white 17's and lower it about 2" Should look quite tidy then ![]() |

Location: Auckland | One thing that i really notice is the lack of torque at low revs - which has to be expected for a 2 litre car. It just seems quite a big drop as my previous car was a.... um Toyota v8 soarer - sold it as i couldnt really afford to run it/ get cheap insurance! So i wanted something more practical like this for a while, but ill definately have to buy another soarer when i can fund its high running costs Its Just an awesome car  But for the next year or so im going to enjoy this 5 cylinder car as its something quite different |

Unfortuantely yes its auto, only thing that ruins it Would a manual conversion be worth it? Coz autos suck the power from the engine alot more than a manual does and obviously its not good for performance! ![]() | |

Location: Auckland | When i lower this i shortly i will just keep the stock rims for a while - till the treads gone i think. With the car lowered ~2" it looks really nice See here - ![]() This is stock - ![]() I did this on MS Paint! ![]() |
