Well I know my mate just bought a car with his plate on the right. Plus I know of a cra that has past its warrant with the plate to the side left as well, so I would question that fines legality

You mean by "front left of the bumper (if you are lookin at the car)" its on the drivers side which is the left when looking from the front? That will be why he got a ticket. If you look at EVOS and the mighty Honda City Turbo, it will be on the passenger side. (Right side when looking at the front)...

I dont know if this is absolutely true but it makes sence I think? I'm so confussed now

Stink man. Yup i reakon u should keep persevering with it. Some cops are power hungry, but u do on the odd occasion meet a good cop. Yes, they do exist haha

i think its when the camera car is sitting on the side of the road, the camera shot gets most of the front right (loking at the front) of the car. if the plates on the left, the camera may not have a chance at picking up the plate.

i think yer better off leaving yer plate where it is, in the factory position, just dosnt give the cops any ammo against you, if u want it out of the way of yer intercooler just drill some new holes about half way up the plate and raise it a little, they arnt big enough to block all the air goin through there.

Thanx 4 dat but that topis had nothing 2 do wid the question i asked!
But hey thanx all for the replies!
He moved the plate coz he got an evo3 front bumper and he put it 2 the side for when he gets his front mount saves making more holes in da bumper then necessary!
