| Senior Member 8,000rpm (B Series Redline!) | umm... i wouldnt reccomend installing a sunroof in a car that didnt alread come with one, it will reduce the structural rigidity of the car. Hang on.. go for it I got a Suroof for sale 1992 Prelude one. Motor and all Offers.. ahaha(PS no idea where you would get it done..)

Oh i spose a DA's sunroof since it slides under the roofline would make slightly less headroom.. but BB's and DCs slide over. And leaking? anything with a rubber seal has that potential.... Now pillarless windows.. look t3h sh1z.. yet leak like a sieve.

| Senior Member 3,000rpm (Grandma Drag) | Sunroof's are cool, but only if you really use it. I hardly use mine, and prefer my car didnt have one.. My opinion, dont bother having a sunroof installed and leave it till you get your next car. But its your call, if you really feel the need to have a sunroof put on your car, then do it. There's a dude on ozhonda.com with a red ausdm ITR who had a sunroof installed.. and it looks like a good job, you wouldnt think it was aftermarket. PPl were going on how he should've went for a VTiR instead, but its his R, his call... whatever makes you happy. |

| Senior Member 5,000rpm (VTEC Power!) | Never had a leak, had my car 3 years now. I'm 6'2" and race meremere with a helmet no worries. I think anything proper circuit/track racing might become a slight issue but meh. Sunroofs ARE the shizz! Especoially for summer, cruising beaches(like the Mount, Akl has no real beaches) and when driving and weather nice it's almost always open! Doesn't make much wind noise either.

Location: Porirua | my sunny doesnt leak on my eg, not even a tiny bit of rust. The interior piece that you pull back does creak over bumps sometimes which is annoying but its great other than that

Location: Auckland | I love having a sunroof in a car, the factory ones that is. The only grip i have with Honda factory sunroofs is not many that i have seen tilt like the Mazda's and others did, well not the pre 90's ones like i can afford to have .I wouldn't touch a car with a aftermarket sunroof, i have heard all sorts of dodgy things happening with them, drafty and don't seal properly, water leaks, rust out, etc.

Location: Hastings | Mine tilts AND slides. But I've only ever used it twice. It's more of a pain than anything else, since when I'm wearing a helemt I have to either recline my seat a notch or drive with my head tilted to one side.

| Senior Member 5,000rpm (VTEC Power!) | Aftermarket sunroofs would come down to the attention & detail the installer put into it really. How many do you think are going to be REAL fussy when it comes to chopping a hole in your roof and triple checking everything to make sure it's perfect? Few and far between which is why after a while you'd get issues. Still, i'd imagine it's pretty expensive...next time you're looking for a car you've got a new requirement 8)
