Was this the one in NZPC not too long ago, along with the top fuel civic?

"The motor has just had a full rebuild, and has done 1500km since rebuild"

Looks like they got cold feet after they fixed it

mmm some things dont add up....
Jun stage 3 cams...... perfect for your hard core NA car, but turbo?
1.2 mm head gasket, with forged pistons. Why not use stock thickness head gasket if your running forgies (asuming they are lower compression)
Apexi computer with hand controler (Power FC) and neko fuel computer??? why would you need a fuel computer when you have a fully tunable ECU? spend the coin on tuning...
3" intercooler pipes? they look 2.5" to me
Also looks like it needs a ignition upgrade (its using a stock coil )
Just my observations....

thick headgasket with forged pistons seems reasonable to me

i think the point of using thick metal headgasket is to avoid getting blown headgasket on high boost

if u look even some GTRs using forged pistons with HKS metal headgasket

but i dunno about the jun 3 with turbo

i know someone in OZ running toda spec c with turbo 8O

Surely that wouldnt work as well as the standard cams? Or does the long overlap just make it harder to tune??

Fantastic quote that... it is a goal of mine to own a car that can happily rev to over 10grand.

i'd be a bit suspicious too on the fact that this car was imported from japan, and the guys at indy cars didnt have a clue about the engines specs, or at least so they said. so how could this guy know? i doubt it comes with a spec sheet when you import it? i reckon BS
