are doing a knight drive to Wellys on tha 27th of July

Leaving Palmy from the old Dress For Less car park at approx 8pm...
Hoping to meet up with some Wellington pplz at tha New World carpark (by Tepapa)

anyone keen on joining in on a bit of fun...tha more tha merrier...

not sure how many exactly at this stage but hoping it'll be really big....got pplz coming from wangas and napier with us and pplz in wellys are organising a big meet for us

you're pretty safe if your cruisin with us....we never get shit from tha cops and they never pull us up....rangi....(big dude works at star mart tha sq) organises it really well and he tell tha cops what were doing so they dont harass us.

What about a post in the meets thread saying that youre planning a cruise to welly, would there be any welly members that might be keen for a meet.

Might get a better result instead of instructing us to put on a good show for you, when you say you have informed us of a meet, when none of us have heard anything about it..

Just something to think about ...

Ummmm... you should be aware that Wakefield St. (New World) is right on the doorstep of the Terraces (Kent/Cambridge), where the Police routinely hunt on Friday/Saturday nights with at least three marked patrol cars and/or two motorbike units.

You might be "safe" cruising on the way down, but once you hit downtown Wellington, the Police won't make any differentiation between you and the locals.

Oh yeah, watch out for drunks crossing the road downtown (they tend to walk out and then check for cars) and mad Taxi drivers pulling "no look" lane changes

What other landmarks do you know about in Wellington, that you can get to?

Are you coming over the haywards hill into Lower Hutt, then into Wellington, or are you coming along the porirua motorway all the way into town?
