best thing to do is to read and learn the basics before asking questions.
cos i have seen some new people ask really stupid questions and they get flamed ops:

the search button is really good, its always good to have a search on the site before asking questions

a good thing to do on your prelude is a decent alarm.

then do your intake, extractors and exhaust system.

for your intake, make sure it can get cold air.
extractors... TRR ones from Beyond are quite good. go for 4-1 extractors if you can find some.
exhaust system, get a 2.25" or 2.5" custom exhaust system.

then do your suspension.
if you are purely for looks, then just get some lowering springs. these wont really increase your handling though.
if you get some proper coilover suspension, it will make your car handle better and quicker acceleration. these cost more than your ordinary lowering springs.

In general decent lowering springs/ with good shocks will make your car handle better then most coilover setups. It is because you have to get the car onto some corner weights to set them up coilovers accurately. I think for road use good shocks and lowering springs are about as good as you can get without, access the corner weights.

what you can do is to first make your car brake better, a simple pad and fluid upgrade will do wonders.

give your car a good oil flush and change, and replace all your fluids, as most people only change oil every 15000km. i.e. gearbox oil, clutch fluid, radiator fluid etc.

then to improve handling and looks a set of mag wheels will do wonders, as long as you get decent ($200+) tyres, couple this with a set of lowered springs, and adjustable shocks.

then get nawwws, a t-88-34d turbo, and a fibreglass fully tubbed front end for a 9s drag car.

I concur. Put "reputable, insurance company approved, car alarm/immobiliser" at the top of your list.

Why spend $1000s of dollars on a car and then rely on $50 parts to keep it safe? You won't regret it
