Great idea, should reduce the chances of getting screwed around.

Re: New Feedback System - Comments/Problems

just went to submit feedback on jase, but you HAVE to enter something in the additional comments box, its not optional.. i tried to submit without typing.. but the system wouldnt allow it, had pop up saying had to enter minimum of 10 characters..

Re: New Feedback System - Comments/Problems

So basically the short comment bit is what you want everyone else to see (like feedback on trademe), and the additional comments is just for you, other trader and mods to see?

Re: New Feedback System - Comments/Problems

just got my first feedback...wooot

even though the additional comment box is so big first intention just look like that it will be the one that you will be writing how good of a trader the other person was. I know it explains it there but should maybe make this one a bit smaller and the other one a bit bigger

just my 2c

Re: TradeMe Style Feedback System

I'm sure if you have a problem with feedback one of the mods can address it and look into the issues etc to check authenticity? and sort it accordingly..

Definitly a good system to implement. Good work mate

Re: TradeMe Style Feedback System

Just one question. Why have a feedback system if members can't view it?
For arguements sake, I want to buy some brakes of Hayce. How am I supposed to know if he delivers on his trades or is just lazy and takes a while therefore getting negative feedback? (dodgy basterd he is )

Fair call, but it'll be too much of a hassle to update each time there is an update for the system. If people stop and read before blinding filling in stuff then I'm sure they'll be fine.

The system itself actually quite mature and has really good built in spam protection. If it thinks anyone is messing around every mod/admin gets an email, and that person will get the ban stick, heh.

It's only meant to be an indication of how good a trader you are, hence why it's only shown in the Parts Exchange forums.

The system is smart, I won't go in to to much detail, but there are automatic systems in place to stop people posting fake feedback.

I don't quite get that, can you not see anyones feedback?

If you go to someones profile, you should be able to see it:
NZHondas.com - View Profile: GecKo

You can also click the link on the Feedback tab there and get taken here: http://nzhondas.com/forum/itrader.php?u=1 Which is also the same if you click on the traders current feedback level.

Ninja Edit, Horny_Devil actually has some feedback.

NZHondas.com - View Profile: Horny_Devil
http://nzhondas.com/forum/itrader.php?u=387

Covered?

Re: New Feedback System - Comments/Problems

Always picking on me ya bastards

Working sweet for me, got a few, given a few.

The link to deal thread is annoying but only because you have to bugger off and hunt it out, it is a good feature, I'm just lazy.

EDIT: Rating's not available here?

That's the old parts exchange forum... Since eventually they'll all disappear, I didn't see the point in putting them in there

Re: New Feedback System - Comments/Problems

"Deal thread URL" - Can you allow threads from the Sponsors section? (Im assuming thats why it comes up as an invalid thread)
