They're just programs made by which ever search engine that race around the web downloading information page by page and image by image. After that they store the information, and other programs use that information to generate the search indexes. I just split them up because I knew there wasn't 60+ guests visiting at once. The number beside the bots indicates how many of them are on the site at the current time.
